When I was first pregnant with twins in 2008 I didn’t realize that sleep would play such a crucial role in my life. Of course I knew that babies needed sleep, but I assumed they would just sleep when they needed to. Needless to say the first few months of motherhood were exhausting and not what I expected. Sleep seemed like a distant memory. I often fantasized about checking myself into a local hotel to catch up on sleep.

After being severely sleep deprived I realized I needed to make a change by incorporating healthy sleep habits and teaching the twins to sleep independently. At that time, there was not a sleep coach to call, so I studied pediatric sleep and created my own hybrid approach to sleep training. And what do you know, the twins began sleeping through the night at 5 months old (4 months adjusted), then shortly after that naps began to fall into place too.

Fast forward 8 years, and I was pregnant with my third baby. However this time around I decided to start good habits from the beginning.  I completed my sleep consultant certification through Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting in 2017, and I continued my education with Lindsey Hookway's Holistic Sleep Certification Mini Course. I guess you would say that I'm a little sleep obsessed ;-)

So here I am, ready to take you on as my next client to help you and your family get better sleep so you can enjoy the other aspects of parenting.

Certified Holistic Sleep Coaching

I am the founder of Discover & Dream, dedicated to helping families sleep better! My educational background includes a B.S. in Psychoogy with a double minor in Sociology and Education, and a Master of Speech-Language Pathology. My training as a speech pathologist provides me with expertise in sleep hygiene, infant and toddler development, routines, and oral motor development/airway.

I am a certified, pediatric sleep specialist who offers services globally. I completed my training and certification with the Institute of Pediatric Sleep and Parenting and is a member of the International Association of Child Sleep Consultants. I continued my education with Lindsey Hookway's Holistic Sleep Certification Mini Course.  I combine all of this training to comprehensively and holistically help the entire family thrive. I help support babies and families to get more sleep through relationships and connection, without sleep training.

My personal interests include nutrition, energy healing, and toxin-free living. Through this ongoing educational journey, I have increasingly felt empowered as a woman and mother to trust my body and instincts, and my passion is to help other mothers to feel the same.
