Behind the Help
From sleep-deprived twin mom to pediatric sleep consultant, my journey is what inspires me to help families find better sleep.
Hey there!
I’m Desiree
Hi, I’m Desiree, and I’m so glad you’re here. I’m a pediatric sleep consultant, mom of three, and the founder of Desiree Baird Pediatric Sleep Coaching.
I’ve helped countless families find their rhythm again through personalized, compassionate, and holistic sleep coaching. I know firsthand how exhausting and emotional this journey can be—especially as a mom of twins! Navigating sleepless nights, sifting through conflicting advice, and holding onto a deep desire to do what’s best for your child can feel overwhelming. That’s what led me to this work: to help families find real rest without the stress.
I believe in creating individualized plans because I know every baby is unique, and every family deserves a solution that’s tailored, not templated. My approach is all about 1:1 support where you feel truly heard and understood.
Let’s work together to bring you the sleep (and peace) you deserve!

The Heart Behind the Coaching
When I found out I was pregnant with twins in 2008, I had no idea just how much sleep would become a part of my life!
Those early months were exhausting, to say the least. Between severe sleep deprivation and postpartum anxiety, I was struggling. I even remember daydreaming about checking into a nearby hotel just so I could get a good night's sleep!
At the time, sleep consultants weren't really an option, so I started researching pediatric sleep on my own. I began implementing healthy sleep habits and eventually taught my twins to sleep independently, without having to cry it out. By five months old (four months adjusted), they were sleeping through the night, and their naps soon followed.
Fast forward eight years, and I was pregnant with my third child. This time, I wanted to establish healthy sleep habits from the beginning. My experience with my twins had sparked such a passion for pediatric sleep that I decided to become a certified sleep consultant.
Now, more than nine years and 500 families later, I still remember how overwhelming those sleepless nights felt. That's why I love what I do. Helping families get the rest they need so they can enjoy parenting a little more is incredibly rewarding!
My Approach to Pediatric Sleep
I take a holistic, individualized approach to pediatric sleep because every child and family is different.
Rather than following a one-size-fits-all method, I look at the whole picture, including your child's development, temperament, feeding, sleep environment, and your family's unique needs.
My goal is to provide practical, evidence-based strategies and compassionate, one-on-one support so you feel confident and empowered every step of the way.
